Celtic fans got a shock to the system on Wednesday night when Jeremie Frimpong was strapped and stretchered off the field after a horrific challenge from Kilmarnock’s Alan Power.

Neil Lennon had initially said after the game that Frimpong’s injury was just minor bruising and the right back could still make the Ross County match.

However, Lennon has now addressed the situation after taking a further look into the young defender’s injury and it seems Frimpong won’t be making the County game after-all.

Celtic started the season with three strong right-backs and all seemed too good to be true as freak injuries keep coming upon our players as the season develops.

Lennon will now be without Elhamed and now Frimpong, so it will be left to Moritz Bauer to help the Hoops to three points against Ross County.
