Christopher Jullien has shared an optimistic update via Instagram today and is doing well in his rehab from a horrific knee injury.

Neil Lennon recently said that the defender will be out for around nine months after an injury at the end of 2020.

The defender was sent to physical therapy in France to get ready for a return over the next nine months.

To begin his treatment from a knee injury sustained at the end of 2020, the defender returned to France. The French defender charged into the goal in the 3-0 victory over Dundee United and slid in to create a goal saving clearance, but was left grounded when his knee connected with the post’s foundation. The smash of terror showed the central defender stretching off.

As Jullien is regarded as a key player for Celtic, it remains a huge blow to the squad for this and next season.

We hope he makes a quick recovery.
