Celtic can be very proud of all their players who are on International duties this week, everyone has played outstanding for their nations, but Celtic fans have absolutely loved Shane Duffy and how he performed for Ireland and the Parkhead new bhoy even managed to bag a goal.

We don’t normally enjoy a national break as sometimes players can come back with injuries that can have a dramatic effect on the rest of the season.

But this time, Celtic have a good amount of players on duty who are on fire with their countries whether that is by scoring goals or just simply having a good game or two.

But fans can’t hide their love for new signing Shane Duffy as his performance for Ireland gives Celtic fans and Neil Lennon a glimpse into what he can add to our current squad.

The big defender even managed to score a lovely header, Lennon’s squad are crying out for that type of physical player.

The 28-year-old Derry native signed a year-long loan deal with Celtic on September 2nd, Duffy will get the chance to play for his boyhood club and also win the club’s 10th league title in a row.

Should Lennon choose to go with our best 3-5-2 formation, Shane Duffy could become a rock for the Scottish Champions.
