Olivier Ntcham has stated that he “cannot wait” to return to player duties and start training again with the Celtic squad, this could be fantastic news for fans as it seems the Frenchman could stay in Glasgow for ten in a row.
There have been reports that Lennon would be open to swapping Ntcham plus cash to sign Forster from Southampton.
Ntcham, 24, has been a key member of the Celtic side under Neil Lennon this season – clocking up 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and laying on another four assists. He has a contract at Celtic until 2022.
The last few years it seemed that Ntcham wanted a move away from Celtic but since Lennon took the reigns at Parkhead, the talented midfielder seems to have changed his mind.
It would be a simple thing to Celtic fans for the club to swap him for Forster as the keeper should be classed as Celtic’s number one signing this Summer.
However, the midfielder still holds a vast amount of quality and has played his part last season, Lennon should be very wary of letting such a talented player go as it could prove difficult to replace him.
