Celtic have been linked to Kilmarnock left back, Greg Taylor, for a number of weeks since the departure of Kieran Tierney.
The 21 year old has been left out of Kilmarnock’s squad today as they take on St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. He was also left out of the squad last week when Killie took on Aberdeen at Rugby Park. However, Angelo Alessio suggests that he missed out due to injury.
Many on twitter has claimed that he is having his medical and is set to be announced at some point today.
However, Celtic aren’t the only ones in the race for the Scotsman’s signature this window. With League one side, Sunderland, also interested. It was reported that the “Black Cats” had a bid rejected for Greg, for less than a million pounds. Kilmarnock have set a £3,000,000 price tag on the Scottish International and aren’t looking to sell him for any less.
If the deal goes through, was Taylor the right choice over Birger Meling?
