Celtic legend Kenny Dalglish expects new bhoy Patryk Klimala to be an instant hit for the Hoops, as the Polish striker is rated very highly in Polish football.

Odsonne Edouard has been holding the fort as Celtic’s sole striker for around one and a half seasons and there’s not doubt the Frenchman needs some support and Klimala seems to have the ability to do so.

The Polish striker has seven goals to his name this season and has his heart set on scoring alot more in the Hoops, Klimala has stated that he turned down big money clubs to move to Glasgow and play for the mighty Hoops.

The Celtic legend wrote:

“The early indications are that the Poland Under-21 striker has quite a bit about him, and there is genuine optimism about what he will help Celtic achieve in the next six months and beyond.

“By all accounts, Klimala will push Odsonne Edouard and is regarded as an able deputy for the talented French striker. That’s exactly what the Hoops needed in this window as they attempt to hold off Rangers to win nine-in-a-row.”

Celtic defeated Partick Thistle in the Cup last night and Celtic fans got to see a glimpse of the young striker in his debut for the Bhoys, Neil Lennon introduced Klimala at around the 79th minute mark and fans hope to see more in their next match.
