Celtic have now been put in the position of possibly going thirteen points clear as Rangers called off their match with Livingston today due to a flooded and diseased pitch.

The Hoops will take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie tomorrow and if all goes well with the weather then Lennon‘s men could pile the pressure on Gerrard and his squad by storming ahead by thirteen points.

Celtic are currently ten points clear with the Ibrox club having a game in hand to reduce the deficit to seven which they could have done this afternoon. Now with the call off and if Celtic’s game goes ahead they will have two games to play.

This could be devastating to Rangers as at some point over the coming weeks there would be a fixture pile up that could see them playing three games in the space of one week.

Lennon could finish this season with a record breaking points tally if all goes to plan.

UPDATE

Rangers v Livingston has been rearranged for Sunday at 15:00 GMT after the Scottish Premiership match was postponed on Saturday.
