It’s fair to say that Odsonne Edouard loves his tenure at Celtic more than he’s enjoyed his time at PSG. Recently, the athlete has clarified why he’s enjoying his time at Glasgow, and it’s one that most soccer players would care about.
“I’m having fun, I’m sticking to expectations, and I’m finding time to play. That’s what I want,” he said, as the Daily Record noted.
“I wasn’t allowed to have a ton at PSG, because clearly I couldn’t prove what I was worth. Now that I have a lot more time to practice, I’m taking this opportunity to show my skills. “As described before, it’s an opportunity to play soccer on a regular basis that was so enticing to Edouard in Glasgow from his time.
Because of the amount of strikers they have, he would never be the first choice striker at PSG. The winners of France have a set of top strikers. That’s not the case at Celtic, however.
After signing a £ 9 million transfer, he has played regularly for the Hoops to become Celtic’s biggest transfer fee ever.
That must be seen as well spent money. At Celtic, Edouard became a much better striker than he was when he joined the club for the first time.
There is little chance that the team will not raise the £ 9 million plus a fair bit more when it transfers from Celtic.
Nevertheless, it’s about keeping the Frenchman happy until then. So long so he still performs for the Hoops, the guy seems to be satisfied, and there is little risk that Neil Lennon may remove him anytime soon.
