Celtic player Jack Hendry who is currently plying his trade on loan at Belgian side Oostende has emerged as a top transfer target of many clubs across Europe and the EPL.

The Hoops player didn’t have much luck at making his Celtic career a successful one under Brendan Rodgers and then when Neil Lennon came to town.

To be fair the 25-year-old was below par when featuring in a Hoops shirt so much that he was deemed as not having a future at the club.

With a few bad loan moves including a stint in the Australian Football League with Melbourne City which ended with a long-term injury, Hendry then found his form in Belgium.

Even though Oostende are a mid-level club, the Hoops defender has actually become one of the best centre-backs in the league boasting a good defensive record.

This has led to many higher profile clubs including a few English Premier League clubs such as Aston Villa, Wolves and Brighton who are all eager to add him to their respective squads.

There are also a few more teams from Germany’s top league who are currently scouting him as we speak.

Jack Hendry is clearly a late bloomer and would it be so crazy for Celtic to recall him back to Glasgow and give him another chance at Hoops stardom, we need more centre-backs in the squad and Hendry is already our player.
