Olivier Ntcham seems to be heading for a bidding war between three Premier League clubs as Everton, Southampton and West Ham are all on high alert and ready to make Celtic a lucrative offer for the Frenchman.
The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Southampton earlier this year and he almost made a move to Porto a few season’s previous, with reports suggesting that he could follow in the footsteps of the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Victor Wanyama and Stuart Armstrong in making a move from Celtic to the Saints.
Southampton have now revived interest in the silky midfielder but have been warned that they will face stiff competition from Everton and West Ham.
The Frenchman has been catching the eye of fans for the last 12 months and it seemed that Ntcham was a breath of fresh air when Lennon has decided to use him.
A player of Ntcham’s ability would be costly to replace and it would be silly for the Celtic board to cash in on him in such an important time for the club, with Brown maybe only having one full season left in him and Rogic not able to keep fit, Celtic must resist the urge to sell key players and make a solid push for 10 in a row as injuries will hit and depth will be highly needed.
