Celtic are lining up a move for Sasa Lukic who currently plays with Italian side Torino, the club aim to bolster the midfield area of the squad.

The 24 year old Serbian star has made it clear that he wishes to leave Torino this year and Celtic are willing to place a bid of around £6 million to try and secure his services.

Lukic managed to play 32 games in the Serie A last season and has the ability to take Celtic to the next level.

However, Torino will want to get as much money as they can for one of their key players, it’s up to the Celtic board to try and get a decent deal for him.

Our source at football agency, Friends and Football International stated:

“There have been a number of clubs who have contacted our clients club and discussions are ongoing but no bids have been made as of yet”

The midfield area could be vital this season as it’s unclear who will be staying on at the club as Postecoglou could be doing a mass clear out.

The rumour going around in Italy is that Celtic have begun discussions with a few clubs regarding players and we will keep you posted on the rest of the transfer targets once we find out.
