As the new season edges closer to kicking off, Celtic have yet to make some crucial key signings to back Ange Postecoglou’s rebuild in Glasgow.

The Hoops have been keeping an eye in certain markets for players that would fit the new manager’s way of playing and one of those nations would be the German Bundesliga.

The German league has a wealth of talent that Celtic could take advantage of as there are still some players that are well within their financial reach.

As Celtic are still lacking in the right wing department, Ange has instructed scouts to look at the German market and one player has caught his eye.

German right winger André Hahn has emerged as a potential target for Celtic as the 30 year old would bring some much needed experience to this Hoops side, as it stands Postecoglou only has Forrest and Dembele at his disposal.

The German player is currently with Bundesliga club FC Augsburg and the winger managed to play 29 league games last season while securing 8 goals also.

His market value is around £2.5 million and the prospect of Champions League football next season to the league winners this could confirm the deal.

We haven’t 100 percent confirmed this link as our sources from Germany have stated that Celtic have made contact and there hasn’t been an official bid made as of yet.

There is a wealth of talent out there in all major leagues in Europe and it’s just a good feeling that Celtic are trying to tap into these markets, after all Ange Postecoglou does have many friends and former staff members across Europe, including Germany.
