Leicester are set to test the waters in this transfer window as Brendan Rodgers has reportedly prepared a £20 million offer for Celtic to land Callum McGregor.

The former Celtic manager has made McGregor one of his top targets this season as he knows the skill that the midfielder has as the 27 year old had previously worked under Rodgers at the Scottish Champions.

The Foxes are reportedly ready to make a bid of £20 million for the experienced midfielder, and the Hoops are worried that he could be tempted to make the move to the Premier League, especially as the Glasgow giants were knocked out of the Champions League in midweek.

Callum McGregor only knows Celtic as he has been with the Hoops his entire career but its still hard to see him leaving as the midfielder will takeover from Brown as captain and Celtic are on the road to 10 in a row this season.

True, the 27-year-old could be tempted by a move to the Premier League, but the Glasgow giants are aiming to make it 10 Scottish Premiership titles in a row this season, and McGregor will be determined to make that happen and make himself a legend among the Celtic Park faithful.
