According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are still interested in signing Celtic hero Odsonne Edouard this season.

With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s current contracts coming to an end in the summer, the Gunners can look to add to their attacking options.

Leicester City are still interested in signing Edouard, with manager Brendan Rodgers having seen the striker at his peak whilst at Celtic.

Edouard seems to be on his way out of the Hoops this season. He’s believed to be worth between £15 and £20 million, and he’ll have plenty of suitors.

Since joining Celtic from PSG in 2018, the 23-year-old has been a revelation. In 163 games, he has scored 81 goals, including 20 goals in 35 appearances in 2020/21.

Arsenal are in dire need of a little something extra in the final third, and Edouard seems to be the perfect striker for the job.

He’s fast and deadly in and around the box, and he’s always young enough to improve.

Edouard makes £19,500 a week at Parkhead which will be a bargain at £20 million in the summer transfer window.

As we all know it could prove very difficult for Celtic to retain the services of Edouard beyond this summer window.

With only 1 year left on his current deal the Hoops should try their best to get between £15-20 million for the star striker.
