Fraser Forster like so many other players in the past fell in love with Celtic the moment he signed for the club the first time around, and that love still burns strong today as The Great Wall states just how much this club means to him.
Forster is just one of those players that instantly gels with a club and performs the way he’s expected to, it was a very smart move from Celtic manager Lennon to bring the big Englishman back to Parkhead as Bain was on a slippery slope and had gotten injured during that forgettable match against Cluj, Craig Gordon also will probably leave very soon.
Celtic seem to be a club that players can come to and know they will succeed after all its no often a player can say they play in-front of 60,000 fans every week demanding 100 percent effort, that alone would give you a morale boost.
Hopefully Lennon can get a permanent deal agreed for Forster as the keeper still has at-least another 3 good seasons left in him and maybe more.
“I don’t know what it is about the place. There are a lot of good people at the club and I work with a lot of good people.
“I just love being here, I just enjoy it. I’m up here, I’m a Celtic player for the year and that’s fine. I just want to do as well for this club as I can. I’m loving being back and playing. I want to make the most of my time.
“I had a tough year last year and the main thing was to get back to enjoying football and enjoying life again.”
