Mohamed Elyounoussi’s new value has been revealed as Celtic would only need to pay around £8 million for the Norwegian star who’s been an impact player for Neil Lennon.

That valuation still seems relatively steep but in comparison to what Southampton paid for Moi, it could become a real bargain for the Scottish Champions.

The English club paid a staggering £16 million for the former Basel man back in 2018, and Mohamed Elyounoussi still has two years left to run on his current deal.

It would be crazy for Southampton not to sell the attacking player if they clearly aren’t going to use him after sending him out on loan to Celtic for a second stint in a row.

According to popular website Transfermarkt it would appear that £8 million valuation was correct and it could be enough cash for Moi to leave the English Premier League.

Should Celtic Pay £8 Million?

These days that price isn’t classed as big bucks and Celtic have paid around that kind of money for both Odsonne Edouard and Chris Jullien.

As Moi is still only 26 years old and Neil Lennon knows that he would be getting a fantastic player, it would be a good investment as the board know his value would increase.
