Celtic are preparing to receive a large offer from AC Milan for Kris Ajer as the Italian club are ready to offer £15 million for Celtic’s star Norwegian defender.
The big defender has been linked with AC Milan for a while now and since Ajer changed agent, the rumours of him wanting to leave have only grown as the months have moved on. Lennon has brought in the services of Shane Duffy to replace the vacant spot that Simunovic had taken up, Celtic seem to have a settled defense as Neil Lennon has finally started played with a back three that consists of Ajer, Jullien and Duffy.
Anthony Joseph seems to be the main man that reveals the news coming from within Sky Sports and he’s been fairly active over the last few months. The Sky Sports man was the first one to reveal the Albian Ajeti link and now he’s keeping us informed regarding the whole Ajer saga.
With the offer only being around £15 million, we can fully expect Celtic to reject it as Ajer is still a key member of the squad and a replacement would need to be found before the Norwegian could even think about leaving the Scottish Champions. However, if Milan were to come back will an offer of around £20 million then we assume Peter Lawwell would bite their hands off and accept.
