Celtic flex their muscles as Lennon’s men sink Aberdeen with a late match winner from Norwegian Ajer.
The Champions took the lead at Pittodrie just after ten minutes with Callum McGregor securing the goal, as the half-time whistle approached so did an Aberdeen equaliser with Ash Taylor making it level pegging.
It was a tough match to watch with the force of the wind and gale making it harder for both sets of squads to try and get some momentum.
Aberdeen did however apply some pressure but in the end Celtic were far to composed and managed to score a match winner with Ajer being the man to secure all three vital points for the Hoops.
Celtic are just too experienced at winning, Lennon knows what he needs the squad to do to get the job done, that is the difference between a club that’s on the verge of a possible fourth treble in a row and also a ninth consecutive league title.
Lennon said: “That was the hardest game I’ve had by a considerable way. Conditions were awful and we were playing against a very good side. It’s a magnificent three points for us.
