John Kennedy backs Celtic to achieve new signings in Summer transfer window despite not knowing exactly when clubs will be able to get players in.

Celtic fans are worried that the club might not be able to hold on to stars like Odsonne Edouard, Kris Ajer and Olivier Ntcham, but Kennedy has backed manager Neil Lennon to get the job done in the market.

“We’ll probably look at two or three signings to keep things fresh. We’ve got a strong squad and we’re really happy about that, but you’re always looking to see what can make us better.

We want to keep our best players, keep the core of the group. The only thing that would change that is if we get a huge offer that demands we consider it plus a player wanting to go. But we’re not certainly looking to let our best players go. because they’ve been very important for us.”

It all depends on if any key players are sold, if we manage to keep them all then maybe three signings will do.

But if Lennon loses all three key players and doesn’t manage to sign Forster, then it could be along season ahead.
