John Kennedy has given fans some indication on the extent of James Forrest’s injury and it’s not complete bad news.
The Hoops boss hasn’t ruled James Forrest out of Sunday’s Glasgow Derby, but he hasn’t confirmed he’ll be in the starting XI either.
The interim Celtic manager was nonspecific when speaking to CelticTV, but he did give us some hope that the winger would make it.
“WE’RE JUST GOING TO MONITOR JAMES AS THE WEEK PROGRESSES.
“HE’S THE TYPE OF PLAYER WE’LL GIVE RIGHT TO THE LAST MINUTE
“WE’LL SEE HOW HE GOES IN THE WEEK, GET THE TREATMENT INTO HIM AND WE’LL JUST PROGRESS THAT AS BEST WE CAN”
James is crucial to our success this time around, and we dubbed the midfielder our ‘Glasgow Derby Game Changer‘ earlier today.
Coming back into the side over the last four games has had a good impact, and his last two starts have ended in goals for the wee man.
I’m crossing my fingers that he’ll be able to play on Sunday.
