Kristoffer Ajer hasn’t ruled out staying with Celtic as he states that he doesn’t focus on what the media write about him as the Hoops defender still has two years left on his current contract.

The Norwegian’s interview that has been translated by Sport Witness, seems to suggest that the defender isn’t giving anything away about a possible move out of Glasgow.

On the other hand Ajer himself has stated that he is still contracted to Celtic and that is is focus.

“I have two years left of the contract and do not focus on my future at all. What the media writes, I don’t focus on it.”

Opinion Time

The Celtic defender seems to have attracted alot of attention from a vast amount of clubs in England and there’s no doubt clubs will hammer Celtic with bids in the summer.

After the Hoops rejected an approach from former manager Brendan Rodgers last year, hopefully the board will have the steel to reject again.
