Marian Shved has confirmed that he will not be returning to previous club Karpaty Lviv but instead will aim to find a higher club than the Ukrainians.

As the Celtic winger looks to next season and finding a club to get some much needed game time, Shved has confirmed it will not be Karpaty Lviv.

Instead the Ukrainian will look at finding a higher level of club to move out on loan as Lennon wants him to get minutes behind him for a Hoops return.

When a player moves out on loan it doesn’t mean that theres no place for him at his club, sometimes a loan move could be the best thing that can happen in a player’s career. (source)

We just have to look at the Celtic players in the squad today, players like Christie, Johnston and Ajer have all been shipped out on loan and came back much better.

There are reportedly clubs from Belgium and Germany who are interested in the Hoops player.

Our Verdict

As we said, if Lennon doesn’t feel that Shved is ready for a first team move then we shouldn’t feel otherwise.

Lennon has been under huge pressure to deliver 9 in a row and he’s not going to risk it on players he feels aren’t ready, Shved, Soro and Klimala have all took a dramatic step up in levels by joining Celtic and we will see more of them at some point next season.
