Lennon Backs Euro Debut Star
Celtic manager Neil Lennon has heaped praise on Jeremie Frimpong as the Irishman thought the defender handled his Europa League debut very well.
The Dutch right back got his dream start in the Danish capital ahead of a more experienced Bauer.
Frimpong had missed several games due to an injury that the defender received through a crunching tackle from Kilmarnock’s Alan Power last month.
The Hoops gaffer, speaking to the Sunday Post, said: “It was a good experience for him, a very good experience.
“For one so young, I thought he handled the occasion very well.”
