Speaking with the Scotsman, Lennon explains why he must be wary of selecting Rogic for specific games as his knees can’t handle a full 90 minutes.

“Tom Rogic has a little bit of a knee problem which flares up after games but we have strength in depth in the squad.

“It’s pretty hectic at the minute with the amount of games. Recovery is important. I thought we played ever so well at Motherwell on Wednesday night, so that in itself will bring confidence to the group.

That is very worrying to think that Rogic has a continuing issue with his knee, the midfielder has struggled to play a full season for quite sometime and for a professional player that could be a major problem in his career.

Tom Rogic is the kind of player that only needs ten minutes to turn the game around so we can only imagine the impact in Celtic’s season if Rogic was somehow match fit for the full season, it would be like signing a new player again.
