Neil Lennon seems pleased with all his signings in this crucial transfer window, there seems to be one player that the Celtic boss will be hailing as Celtic’s best in the window as Shane Duffy produced a perfect debut.

The Celtic gaffer hails all his signings and each one has shown they are Hoops material as Albian Ajeti looks like he’s going to be a real predator in the opposition’s box, a real deadly striker.

The big man mountain that is Vasilis Barkas had a sensational game and definitely proved all his critics wrong as the big Greek produced some vital saves that allowed Celtic to steam ahead comfortably.

But Shane Duffy was the main attraction today as the defender allowed Lennon to return to that sweet 3-5-2 formation that seems to have a deadly outcome in Scottish Football when used by Lennon.

The manager seems very pleased with the 5-0 win at Ross County, also a much needed three points.

Lennon said:

“Shane had the two games for Ireland which will have done him the world of good.

“He hadn’t played that much football. Same with Ajeti, he needed a run out and today he’s produced a great striker’s goal.

“Shane, we all know what the club means to him, but to score on his debut was just great. I think after the goal he just looked peerless, just outstanding.

“That will give him a lot of confidence. He’s getting used to us, our style of play and we’re getting used to him. But it’s been a good day’s work for him.”

While he has not been the most active recently, his performance against Ross County shows that he will be an asset to the club on both ends of the pitch.
