Neil Lennon has warned his Celtic players that Kilmarnock will be no easy game as the Hoops still have another Europa Cup game midweek to deal with as-well.

Normally Hoops fans should be happy with two home ties but Kilmarnock have picked up some good form under Dyer and Celtic can’t afford to give Rangers any sort of boost.

Lennon knows at this stage in the season there’s no room for mistakes and dropping any points on Sunday is unthinkable.

Lennon:

“It’s a game against difficult opponents who probably had a bitterly disappointing night in midweek, but Alex Dyer has them playing pretty well.

“They scored goals in midweek and they obviously beat Rangers. They are tough opposition and we will have to be very wary of them.”

On a perfect day, Celtic would be able to put the game to bed early so that they can provide rest to some of the players in the second half of the game ahead of next week’s all important Europa League tie.
