Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor has been instrumental for the Hoops over the past few seasons.

McGregor has played a direct role in Celtic’s quest for ten in a row.

But only since Lennon has opted to switch formation to play a more controlled 3-5-2 that Callum has managed to find his form again.

Before the winter break, McGregor hit a slump in form but the change in tactics has taken a positive effect.

So far his form after the Christmas break has improved and the midfielder has 3 goals and 4 assists to his name.

On Wednesday night McGregor managed to score a world class volley against Motherwell, probably one of the best goals Callum has scored in his Hoops career.

Hoops fans took to social media to heap praise on him and some even compared McGregor to the great Paul McStay along with the wonderful Argentinian Juan Roman Riquelme.
