Football pundit Michael Stewart insists Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard would easily walk straight into Manchester United’s first team as the striker is that good.

With Edouard grabbing himself a double in Celtic’s 4-0 away win at Motherwell, top clubs will preparing a record bid in the summer and Stewart reckons Edouard would suit Manchester United.

It goes without saying that Hoops fans would rather keep the Frenchman in a Celtic shirt.

Edouard now has 24 goals in 37 appearances for the Scottish champions this season and there’s still a Europa Cup run for Odsonne to feature in that could potentially make his value skyrocket.

Michael Stewart, on pundit duty for BT Sport, said last night: “Manchester United don’t have a striker, Odsonne Edouard would walk into that team.”

Asked if the Hoops star was better than the likes of Martial and Mason Greenwood, Stewart replied: “Yeah, I think so.”

Celtic now have a great record at creating future stars and that’s why other clubs sit up and take notice when one if our Bhoys are on top form.
