Neil Lennon has given a slight indication that Mikey Johnston could be ready to make an appearance against Hearts in next weekends Cup Final from last season.
The winger has been out injured since suffering knee ligament damage away to St Johnstone last January and now he could be ready for the weekend, only if his fitness improves.
Neil Lennon had confirmed that Mikey Johnston had played 45 minutes with the colts squad as they defeated rivals Rangers.
Then the Hoops boss has said that a further colts game could provide the winger with more much-needed game time.

This would mean that Johnston could only play “cameo” roles going forward to build up his fitness.
It could also mean that those roles would be with the Celtic first-team as Lennon badly needs more options for both flanks with Moi as the only natural winger available.
