Neil Lennon has addressed any concern by the supporters that Celtic will not allow a tough Europa Group to harm the club’s quest for 10 in a row.

We all found out that Celtic were handed a slightly tough group draw as the Scottish Champions will face the likes of AC Milan, Lille and Sparta Prague.

There were questions asked around the Hoops support that this tough Europa League run could damage our chances of retaining the league title and confirming 10 in a row.

The Celtic manage has spoken out and addressed the draw and our domestic season ahead.

”I think it will be good for us. We had it last season and it didn’t affect us.”

“We want European football and I think they both complement each other. I think it makes us better.

“It’s going to be Thursday-Sunday games. But that’s what we want. The players want it and I know the fans want it as well.”

Neil Lennon is correct when he said that it didn’t harm our form last season, we felt that it actually made us a better team.

When you face higher breeds of opposition whether you win or lose, it does have a positive stamp on the squad.

Hopefully Celtic gain some confidence over the next few weeks and start playing the way we all know they can.
