CELTIC target Omar Colley has a release clause of £10.8 million in his Sampdoria contract as the Scottish Champions are debating breaking their record fee for the defender.

The 27 year old has been a Celtic target over the last few months and many fans thought it was just rumours as the Sampdoria defender would cost to much for the nine in a row winners.

Sky Sports have confirmed that no bid has been made but interest hasn’t faded from Celtic’s end and there is a release clause in the Gambian players contract.

Neil lennon has already strengthened his squad with Irish defender Shane Duffy and now Colley looks like a genuine target of the Scottish Champions.

If Celtic were to pay any fee close to £10 million it would surely mean that Ajer would be on his way out of Parkhead.
