Celtic have a been linked with a move for Mitchell Bakker over the last week or so and it did seem that a loan deal could be struck but now the PSG player has admitted that he wants to stay with the French Giants.
It has been reported that PSG had rejected an offer from Celtic to take Bakker to Parkhead on loan, PSG had told Celtic that the rejection wasn’t final and the door between both clubs was left open.
This has given Celtic fans hope as it seems PSG were being cautious as they feared they would lose one of their key left backs and wanted to wait and see if there are other outgoings before Bakker was allowed to leave.
Bakker has his say on the Celtic link:
“I have not heard anything about Celtic (wanting him on loan). I want to stay with PSG and get even more game-time.” Bakker told NOS.
