Celtic could be set to lose another highly-rated youngster from the Lennoxtown ranks this campaign, as goalkeeper Rory Mahady continues to attract interest from Premier League giants.

The 15-year-old goalkeeper isn’t able to sign his first professional contract until he turns 16 in August, something the Hoops would like to tie up with the young prospect.

Nevertheless, he could now be set for a move away following recent reports from Football Scotland. Mahady has some extremely high-profile suitors, as Manchester City, Tottenham, and Leeds United have all expressed an interest in his services.

If he was to leave Parkhead, Celtic would be due some form of compensation due to his development taking place at the club. Should his future lie away from Glasgow, the Scotland U-17 international would join a long line of youth players that have been lured down south to seek a first-team breakthrough.

Recently, talented winger Ben Doak joined Liverpool from Celtic despite being given first-team minutes under Ange Postecoglou. Vincent Angelini was also another casualty of last season, electing to move to Watford to continue progressing his game.

Hopefully, Celtic can keep Mahady at Parkhead and ward off any further attempts to secure his signature in the coming weeks and months.
