Sevco Failure Could Do A Runner Before Season Starts
Sevco’s failing manager Steven (Slippy) Gerrard could be making his move away from Mordor as the press have linked the former Liverpool legend with English club Bristol City.
We all might find it hard to believe that Gerrard would move to a club like Bristol City, but is it that much of an obscene move for the Sevco manager.
Gerrard as a manager hasn’t earned that much of a positive reputation as he hasn’t won a single trophy so any decent team won’t come calling, the fact Gerrard has spent a small fortune since his arrival and still not produced the goods will go against him aswell.
Clubs will be looking at his man management also of which Morelos has been a complete failure that the world has seen, this is partly due to the lack of discipline that Gerrard has, we all know Morelos was their main player and the only real source of goals.
Bristol City will finish mid table in the Championship this season, England’s second tier but it was only around January or February the club were pushing at the top end of the table, so the club could be willing to allow Gerrard the shot at pushing next season for a play-off spot.
Gerrard is sitting at around 7-1 in the betting, the likes of Chris Hughton a perhaps more obvious choice seem more likely and much lower odds..
Bristol will have more funds available to Gerrard and lets be honest this will be his last season and does he really want to be the manager in charge when Celtic win 10 in a row, no chance.
There isn’t any concrete evidence that Gerrard is in the running as with his reputation as a player he will be linked to every Championship team going. (source)
