ST JOHNSTONE KEY MAN ON SCOUT ALERT
It has been reported by some media outlets that Celtic sent out scouts to watch the Scottish Cup Semi Final at Hampden between St Johnstone and St Mirren with an eye on St Johnstone star Ali McCann.
The 21-year-old Northern Ireland international has performed to a high level this season and has been impressive when playing in the big games as recently as St Johnstone’s cup win at Ibrox.
With Celtic having no manager announced as yet the work continues behind to rebuild the squad for the Champions League qualifying stages and ahead of the new season. McCann is now at an age that playing every week would be his main priority but if a move to Celtic was in the beckoning then I’m sure there would only be one outcome,
It is rumoured that this isn’t the first time he has been looked at by Celtic and he is on a list of others which Celtic are considering. McCann will have his suitors from down south this will make it interesting and Celtic may have to get in early as transfer talk hots up. Since Callum Davidson has came in at the Perth side McCann has flourished and taking his game to whole new level.
Could he be the next Scottish Premiership talent going to Celtic which David Turnbull already showing his talents at Celtic this season.
