So, the talk of today as been Celtic’s tough draw in the Europa League as the Scottish Champions were dished out one of the more harder groups although we were in pot 1.

The Hoops were drawn against AC Milan, Sparta Prague and Lille as Neil Lennon hopes to progress further than last season.

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has indicated that this is a great draw for the Scottish Champions, in some ways he’s correct.

It does prove that no matter if your in the Champions League or Europa League, your still able to come up against some decent teams.

We wouldn’t say its a group of death as Rennes just managed to finish above Lille last season, we got on fine against them.

Lennon’s men managed to defeat Lazio twice in last season’s group stages, the Italians finished 2 places above Milan in the Serie A last term.

And then we have Sparta Prague, the Czech’s ended last season in 3rd place respectively.

All these clubs are able to give Celtic a difficult game but they are not really better that the clubs we faced last year.
