Chris Sutton has stated that he believes that one Celtic star could be sold in this transfer window as Lennon has recently signed long term target, David Turnbull.

It would make sense in a way as Ntcham could be the one to be sold to make room for the newly signed Turnbull as Neil Lennon seems to already struggle to fit the Frenchman it his squad at times despite the midfielder being of high quality.

The lack of games could refer to Lennon’s previous comments after Celtic crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers, that certain players have made it known that they wish to leave the club, we already know that Ntcham has wanted moves away in the past, this could also be the reason the Hoops manager lacks trust in the midfielder.

In previous discussions we have predicted the sale of both Ajer and Ntcham as it now seems imminent due to the fact both agents have asked the Celtic board for valuations that would be acceptable for a sale.

Both players could easily be using the international break to source a transfer away from Parkhead and Sutton predicts that Ntcham could be leaving, soon.

“Does it mean that it’s the end for Olivier Ntcham? I think it does. It looks like Turnbull’s come in, Ntcham will possibly be the one who is sold and let go.

“I know Ntcham’s come in for a bit of criticism at the start of the season. I don’t think Neil Lennon necessarily helped by speaking about players wanting away and supporters assuming that Ntcham is one of those players.

“But I think Ntcham is a really good footballer.”

We all know that Ntcham is a very talented player who can instantly change the flow of a game, but if indeed Lennon has issues with him then he must be sold as Turnbull seems a more reliable player who has consistently proved he can perform in Scottish football.
