Oliver Burke has seemingly said his goodbyes to Celtic as he prepares to return to West Bromwich Albion.
The winger had a positive start to life in Glasgow, before falling completely out of favour under Neil Lennon.
Celtic ended the season winning a domestic treble, but Burke’s personal performances mean he has probably played his last game for the club.
Burke tried his best to force his way into Lennon’s Celtic squad and did get his shot, but Burke failed to make any impact and lost his place as Celtic couldn’t take any more risks as they had a Treble to win.
As Lennon didn’t favour Burke its highly unlikely that Celtic will try and persuade the attacker to return and he might be best trying to work his way into the West Brom team for the new season.
